These workshops will give you an introduction to using digital cameras underwater as well providing advanced skill development so that your pictures are not just holiday snaps but living portraits you will be proud to show your friends.

The workshops are separated into activities which can be taken separately or individually to suit your personal needs.  Also you can attend classes as many times as you want if you want to repeat skills or have the opportunity to have your photo’s reviewed by our staff.   We have different assignments (practice goals) available, hence attending multiple classes does not mean repeating assignments unless you want to work on a specific skill.  Example activities are:

Prices

Depending on your learning desires and budget, the pricing is as follows:

Class room (covers both session 1 and 2)               $25*   (see below)

U/W photography workshop dive                           $45

*For a limited time, Sierra Dive is offering free passes for Class 1, which covers an introduction to the course and u/w photography.  This is a chance for you to sample before you sign up for the dives.  If you are thinking of getting into u/w photography this class is a great opportunity to get some advice on different camera systems and what it takes to take good u/w photos.

Want to complete the PADI U/W Digital Photographer Specialty Course?

If you would like to earn your PADI Digital UW Photography Specialty Certification, you will need to do the class room and one dive for level 1 certification, and the class room and two dives for level 2 (note the second dive will need to be in open water - which we will schedule in the summer months or as requested during the rest of the year).
